The goal of the postpartum doula is to nurture the mother and her family into becoming parents. A postpartum doula is there to help a new family in those first days and weeks after bringing home a new baby. With professional support from the doula, the mother and the family experience success, gain knowledge and become more self-confident with their baby. Postpartum doulas can assist with feeding the baby or bring the baby to the mom to nurse, proper burping, changing diapers (cloth or disposable) swaddling, sleeping techniques, newborn education, light housekeeping, meal and bottle prep.
Studies have shown that Doula Care can decrease: length of labor, use of epidurals, other medications, and C-section rates. While nurses, doctors and midwives change shifts and must come and go to attend to other patients, our doulas remain with you and your family continuously until your baby is born.

At this time we don't barter or trade for doula services. It also never hurts to ask. We have a community of doula sisters that might offer this service.
Our services are a flat rate but we do offer some services on a sliding scale depending on income, client request for an experienced doula, and when we were contacted to begin services. Sliding scale ranges from a 25% discount on ohhhh baby packages only.
First and foremost we want to serve you and help you to get it figured out. Get started early and setup a payment plan. You can share with your community how important a doula is to you and let them know that their support in affording one would mean the world. Add it to your baby registry or wish list. I encourage you to review your finances and see where you can make adjustments. Payment plans and Gift Cards are always available.
Dry brushing technique can be done during pregnancy to provide an extra boost of energy, lymphatic support and extra exfoliation to reduce cellulite. It provides stimulation of the lymphatic system while enhancing blood circulation, which is why cellulite may appear. Dry brushing has also helped women ward off stretch marks and assist in tightening the skin during the postpartum period.
Not at this time but COMING SOON!
We will not be offering this service until Late 2022.
Packages can be adjusted to meet the need of the birthing person. Don't see what you're looking for? Let us know so that we can design a plan for you!
We love to give to worthy causes, and often donate our time to charities and offer free education classes. However, we do get requests to work for free. Please know that this is our livelihood, and as much as we'd love to, we simply cannot afford to donate our birth services for free. But fear not! We can help you obtain local support depending on where you live and where you deliver.
